AIDS walk/vigil next Sunday

YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown World AIDS Day Committee will host a walk and candlelight vigil in downtown Youngstown to promote awareness of HIV/AIDS in observation of World AIDS Day next Sunday from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
The walk and candlelight vigil will begin at the steps of the Mahoning County Courthouse and will end at B&O Station. A free social will follow at B&O Station where light refreshments will be served.
The Youngstown World AIDS Day Committee is composed of local nonprofit groups that hope to bring more local attention to HIV/AIDS.
The Youngstown World AIDS Day Committee is looking for volunteers to assist on the day of the event. Those who want to volunteer can contact Youngstown World AIDS Day co-chairs Anita Davis at 330-518-4718 and Shavar Johnson at 330-423-8250.
