Champion 61, Mineral Ridge 55

MINERAL RIDGE

Anna Hill, Izzy D’Urso and Kelly Robinson each scored 14 points and Champion broke a fourth-quarter tie to pull away from Mineral Ridge in the closing minutes. Hill had 11 rebounds to go along with her team-high scoring total and Robinson drained three 3-pointers. Peyton Allen scored 19 points for Mineral Ridge.

Southington 43, Jackson-Milton 36

NORTH JACKSON

Shelby Cameron scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half as Southington rallied from a 24-17 halftime deficit. Rachel Wilson led the Wildcats with 16 points and nine rebounds. Cameron added seven rebounds and Brittany Sherwood had nine. Rebecca Jones had a big game for the Bluejays with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Izzy Scarl added 11 rebounds and Kaitlyn Totani had eight points and four assists.

Newton Falls 53, Lordstown 31

LORDSTOWN

Alyssa Abraham scored 14 points, Brooke Barreca had 11 along with nine rebounds and Gabby Kline scored 11 for the Tigers who opened a 30-16 halftime lead. Ally Hajnosz led Lordstown with 10 points and Talia Tobin added eight.

Poland 51, Campbell 22

CAMPBELL

Theodora Constantine led the Bulldogs with 18 points and Madison Walkama scored 10. Poland raced out to a 9-3 first quarter lead and pushed the advantage to 25-8 at the half. The Bulldogs grabbed 45 rebounds. Brianna Watkins had seven points for Campbell.

Leetonia 39, Heartland Christian 24

COLUMBIANA

Emily Schneider’s 14 points paced the Bears. Autumn Champney had nine points and Mara Newton added five. Leetonia raced out to a 19-10 halftime lead.
