Poland Junior Women and Rotary prepare for lighting

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Poland Rotary with Poland Junior Women’s League have been preparing luminaries for the Lighting of the Village at 4 p.m. Dec. 7. Above, from left, are Holly Fritz, Dan Madden, Chris Cruciger, Maryann Carano, Shellie Duchek and Brandon Davis. The luminaries will be lighted along Route 170 from Poland Town Hall to Peterson Park. The lighting of the village tree, free and open to the public, will take place at 5:30 p.m. featuring carols, cookies and cocoa, horse-drawn carriage rides and Santa’s arrival.
