Poland plans 2014 celebration

The next Celebrate Poland meeting will be Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Caf at Wittenauer’s in Poland. The planning committee for Celebrate Poland is mapping out next summer’s event, to be June 27 and June 28. This free event celebrating Poland’s heritage and community spirit has grown over several years to include a parade, live music, a craft show, a Touch-A-Truck event, food vendors, a 5K run, duck races, Bounce-Around toys, the Poland Idol Contest and fireworks. Volunteers are needed and welcome to make Celebrate Poland 2014 happen – any amount of time or effort is greatly appreciated. Meetings are a great way to know Poland a little bit better.
