ASSOCIATIONS

Area chapters of the American Business Women’s Association will gather for their first combined Christmas party at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave., Boardman. The Mill Creek, Tri-Gold and Youngstown Charter chapters will host a full-course dinner and an optional $15 gift exchange. Entertainment will be provided by Canfield High School’s all-female chorus, One Octave Higher, led by Kelly Scurich, choral director. The cost is $26 per person, and reservations are due Dec. 1 with checks payable to Network Council of ABWA.

CLUBS

Canfield Republican Women’s Club will meet for a luncheon at noon Dec. 4 at A La Cart Catering, Lisbon Street in Canfield. The menu consists of caesar salad, herb chicken in puff pastry, California vegetable blend and spumoni with cookies. The cost is $12 per person. Those attending can take a new unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The guest speaker will be Jim Shaw from Americans for Prosperity. Toastmasters Club of Warren is looking for new members. All of those interested in advancing their communication and leadership skills are encouraged to join. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the rosary, and a meeting will follow in the church hall.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish house.

Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection will present “A Christmas Tradition” from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield.
