Ron and Vicki Dugan are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Dugan, and Matthew Boyer. All reside in Boardman. He is the son of Kevin and Lisa Williamson of Youngstown.

The couple are planning their wedding for 2 p.m. Dec. 14 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at the Regency House in Austintown.

The bride-elect studied at Youngstown State University and at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. She earned a certificate in medical assisting at MCCTC. She is employed in the floral and front end areas at Giant Eagle.

Mr. Boyer is employed as a salesman at Preston Hyundai.
