Plant a tree or shrub – now

Fall is a great time to plant new trees and shrubs in the landscape. Be sure to dig the whole 2-3 times wider than the root ball, but only as deep as the soil level of the root ball. Do not plant it too deep! You can use 2 inches of mulch on top of the soil, but not up against the trunk.
