Crack and cash seized by Youngstown vice squad

YOUNGSTOWN

Members of the Vice Squad seized large quantities of crack cocaine in one raid Wednesday, and a large amount of cash in two others.

All three raids were on the South Side.

At a 267 W. LaClede Ave. home, officers found $769 in cash and 12 bags of marijuana about 5 p.m. Two people were arrested on drug charges there.

At a 171 W. LaClede Ave. home about 6 p.m., police found $4,136 in cash and small amounts of heroin and a .25-caliber pistol. Two people were arrested there.

And at a 541 Carroll St. home about 7:20 p.m., police found 32 bags of crack cocaine. An arrest was made there as well.
