Auxiliaries will collect food and toys

Springfield Township Fire and EMS and New Middletown Village auxiliaries and associations are hosting a food and toy drive to benefit Springfield Township Community Council of Churches and the Community Christmas basket program.

Food, toys and monetary donations are being collected at both fire stations any Monday before Dec. 8 or from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 7.

Springfield Township Fire Department is at 13885 Youngstown Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, and New Middletown Fire Department is at 10711 Main St., New Middletown.

Monetary donations may be deposited at any Huntington Bank or mailed to STCCC, c/o Zion Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 434, New Middletown, OH 44442.
