Warren SOUP event to raise money for local projects is Saturday

WARREN

Warren SOUP will have its next microfunding event from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Movement, 480 E. Market St. The goal is to provide money for creative local projects that will have a positive impact on Warren. Free parking is available across Market Street from The Movement.

Warren SOUP is a public dinner of soup, salad and bread for $5 (no tickets needed; first come, first served).

Diners hear presentations from no more than four local groups seeking funding and will be able to ask questions before voting for their favorite project.

The winner will be announced at the end of the evening, and they will receive the money raised from that night’s event.
