Two shot in Warren, cops mum on details

WARREN

Men ages 20 and 22 were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds from a 1:44 a.m. shooting at 2044 Ferndale Ave. SW today.

Both suffered a “major injury,” but Warren police were not releasing any other information on their injuries or what hospital they were taken to.

Injured are Jamal B. Coleman, 20, of 2044 Ferndale; and Davion J. Rogers, 22, of 2044 Ferndale.

Lt. Jeff Cole, public information officer for the Warren Police Department and officer in charge, said everything regarding the number of suspects involved and the circumstances surrounding the incident is “under investigation,” and he would not provide any other details.

A police report lists three males and a female, all of Warren, who were witnesses to the incident. The males are ages 20, 20, 18 and 41.

The report suggests that there was more than one suspect.
