Lions' Club will host run, walk

McDonald Lions Club is hosting its fifth annual Feed the Need Holiday 5k run, fun walk and kids race Nov. 30 at 201 Ohio Ave.

Entry fee is $15 and two canned foods or $18 the day of the race. Age 11 and under cost $7 for a T-shirt and one canned good.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all those preregistered by Friday.

Entry packets can be picked up between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. by Nov. 29 at Speed Sports, 241 E. Marshall Road or between 8 and 9 a.m. at the race Nov. 30.

Proceeds will benefit Lions charities, and all canned goods will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
