Jury selected in Ferrara trial

YOUNGSTOWN

A jury of seven women and five men has been selected to hear the 1974 unsolved triple homicide case against 64-year-old James Ferrara.

He is charged in the murder of Benjamin Marsh, 33: his wife Marilyn; and their daughter Heather in December of 1974 at their South Turner Road home in Canfield Township.

Ferrara was indicted in June after detectives matched fingerprints found at the scene to him.

Jury selection began this morning.

Opening statements are expected to begin shortly.
