Mahoning Valley under tornado watch until midnight tonight; high wind advisory until 7 a.m. Monday

CLEVELAND

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties as well as much of Ohio, until midnight tonight.

A wind advisory remains in effect until 7 a.m. in the Mahoning Valley.

A tornado watch means weather conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that are capable of producing tornadoes.
