YSU tied with NDSU 7-7 in 1Q

The Youngstown State football team is tied with North Dakota State 7-7 in the first quarter of Saturday's game at Stambaugh Stadium.

Kurt Hess hit Andre Stubbs for a 6-yard TD to cap YSU's opening drive, which went 80 yards over 10 plays. The Penguins forced a punt on NDSU's first drive.

NDSU answered with a 75-yard drive, capped by a 3-yard TD pass from Brock Jenkins to Andrew Bonnet with 5:13 left in the first quarter.
