Nicole LaRocca and Mark Schroedel exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony officiated by Monsignor Robert Siffrin on July 6 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown. A reception followed at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Kathleen LaRocca of Youngstown, and the groom is the son of Karl and Suzanne Schroedel of Hilton Head, S.C.

After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple live in Charlotte, N.C.

The bride wore a white taffeta pickup gown. Her sister, Jennifer LaRocca, and Kate Ress were honor attendants.

Serving as bridesmaids were Sarah Morgan; Lindsey Hecker; Jill Anderson; Brittany Angelaitis; Kaitlyn Moviel; Allison LaRocca, cousin of the bride; and Lynnette Schroedel, sister-in-law of the groom.

Attendants wore coral-colored dresses. Joya Grymberg served as the flower girl.

Sharing best man duties were Karl Schroedel, the groom’s brother, and Brian McFarland. Groomsmen follow: Kyle Ruth, Tyler Metz, Curt Rape, Dave Segen, Rob Krasovic, Tom DiMiero and Matthew Pottala.

Ring bearer was Max Grymberg.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Baldwin-Wallace College and a master’s in curriculum in reading from Grand Canyon University. She is an eighth-grade special education teacher for Union County Schools in Charlotte.

The groom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Kent State University. He is employed by Tech USA as an account executive in Charlotte.
