Free caregiver program Monday in Poland

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter is offering Caregiver Connection from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road.

The Caregiver Connection program is free to family caregivers. Support is provided by the Beverly A. Chiron Education Fund. Refreshments will be provided. For reservations, call Carolyn Lake at 1-800-272-3900.

The program, offered in observance of November’s National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and National Caregivers Month, includes presentations for caregivers about care-giving, dementia, research, communications and local resources that are available, said Jennifer Miller, a family service coordinator.
