Eat'n Park backs Caring for Kids

The annual Caring for Kids campaign is in progress at area Eat’n Park Restaurants.

The national campaign will go on until Dec. 15.

Each local restaurant will host events to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

Fundraising events will vary by location and will include:

Tips for Tots nights, at which 100 percent of all tips earned will benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

Rodeo Round-Ups are daylong events when customers will be asked to round up their bill to the nearest dollar.

A chance to meet Smiley, as well as raffles, prizes, games and more.

Reservations are not needed.

Dates and times for all local Caring for Kids events follow:

Dec. 4, Tips for Tots, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Warren Eat’n Park, 2057 Wal-Mart Drive NE. Call 330-372-6610 for information.

Now in its 34th year, the Caring for Kids campaign is a five-week effort in which Eat’n Park conducts various fundraising activities to benefit local children’s hospitals in the communities where their restaurants are located.

The campaign benefits 13 children’s hospitals and has raised more than $8 million to date.

Last year, local Eat’n Park locations raised $16,345 for Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley and have raised more than $41,000 since 2010.
