Man stabbed in Salem

SALEM

A man was arrested after an early-morning stabbing Wednesday in the 400 block of South Broadway Avenue that killed a man.

A press release from the city police department states police called there for a stabbing found a man later identified as Gerrod Lanzendorfer, 23, lying in the middle of the road dead.

As police were there, another man, Robert Harmony, no age given, went to the police department and said he was involved in a stabbing.

Harmony was arrested on a charge of murder and is in the Columbiana County Jail. Police are still investigating and looking for a motive.
