Restaurateur arrested for OVI charge in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Police arrested the owner of a Boardman restaurant on Saturday for operating a vehicle while impaired.

Michael Alberini, 46, of Squirrel Hill Drive, owner of Alberini's on U.S. Route 224, was arraigned this morning on the charge in Mahoning County Area Court here.

Police stopped Alberini after they saw him swerve in the roadway on Washington Boulevard and speed down Glenwood Avenue, according to police.
