Man burned when propane line is severed

YOUNGSTOWN

Fire reports say a Southern Boulevard man suffered severe injuries and burns when a steel coil he was trying to cut through Sunday evening at a Wilson Avenue scrap yard blew apart.

árews were called to the 1609 Wilson Ave. scrap yard about 8:40 p.m. where they found Andre L. Glenn, no age given, being treated by paramedics. Reports said a propane line was severed while he was cutting the coil and Glenn’s leg was on fire before an employee put the fire out.

Glenn was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment, reports said.
