Intentionally set fire burns down vacant home on Tacoma Avenue
YOUNGSTOWN
Fire reports said a blaze that destroyed a vacant 59 Tacoma Ave. home about 2:40 a.m. today was intentionally set.
Crews called to the home found a heavy fire shooting from the roof when they arrived. The home was the scene of a previous fire on Jan. 3, 2011, reports said.
Firefighters also said they found gang markings on the front porch of the home. It was allowed to burn down because of the heavy fire and the instability of the roof. Damage is listed at $5,000. There were no injuries.
