Guns, cash stolen from Austintown home

AUSTINTOWN — Police are investigating who stole two guns, ammunition and more than $4,000 from a home on Aldrich Road.

The homeowner told police he believes the robbery happened between 9:50 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday while he was at work.

Police said someone forced entry through a rear door to the house and broke out a window.

A Bushmaster AR-15 with two magazines and 700 rounds, a Ruger 380 with two magazines and 250 rounds, and more than $4,000 were taken.
