City man in trouble for eluding police, carrying weapon

YOUNGSTOWN — Police found a .32-caliber revolver Friday they say was thrown by a man as he ran from police.

David Triplett, 21, of East Indianola Avenue, was arraigned today in Youngstown Municipal Court on felony charges of carrying concealed weapons and receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of fleeing and eluding.

He is in Mahoning County jail on $15,000 bond. He is due back in court Monday.
