Reminder: Services at Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County curtailed Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN — Services at all 15 branches of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County will be limited Tuesday while an upgrade to the library’s catalog software and databases is completed.

Customers will still be able to check out books, but the checkout process will be manual and done by a staff member.

Public-access computers will still be available for Internet use, but customers will not be able to search the catalog, either in the library or from home, or do tasks such as reserving books, until the upgrade is complete. Also, printing will not be available from the library’s public computers and the photocopiers will not be working.
