New Castle, Pa. home destroyed by fire

A fire at a two-story residence at 209 Ashland Ave. destroyed the house, said the New Castle Fire Department.

The fire began at 5:52 p.m. The tenants were not in the house at the time.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
