Ethnic Heritage Day to welcome Dr. Beelen

The Ethnic Heritage Society will welcome Dr. George Beelen, who will present a program on Romania. The event will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kravitz Deli, 3135 Belmont Ave.

Dr. Beelen is a retired professor and administrator of Youngstown State University. He is founder and president of the Ohio Cultural Alliance, and member of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor and the Ethnic Heritage Society.

The cost is $5 at the door.
