WARREN
A 29-year-old Leavittsburg woman was cited for failure to yield the right of way on a left turn following a two-car crash on East Market Street at Perkinswood Boulevard Thursday morning.
Lynsey Carr, of North Meadowbrook Drive, was cited in the 10:34 a.m. crash that injured Pamela Chapin, 58, of Meadowbrook Drive Southeast in Warren.
The Warren Fire Department said a mechanical tool had to be used to cut Chapin out of her vehicle so she could be taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Warren police said Chapin was westbound on East Market, and Carr was eastbound and attempting to turn left onto Perkinswood when she collided with Chapin’s vehicle, sending Chapin’s car into utility pole.
Carr did not seek immediate medical attention.
