Help Misson of Love help Guatemalan children

CANFIELD — Chef Matt of Yolo Grille and Wine Bar, 5231 S. Canfield-Niles Road, is preparing hors d’oeuvres from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and dinner at 8 p.m. Monday to benefit a Mission of Love project to Guatemala City, Guatemala. There is a cash bar and admission is $50 per person. Entertainment is by guitarist Julius Veal.

Donations will help with the transportation costs of trucks to take 54,000 pounds (18 Air Force pallets) of supplies from the Mission of Love warehouse to the 910th Airlift Wing at Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.

The supplies will be flown by the 910th on Nov. 26 to the House of Dreams, Children’s Hospice and Metropolitan Hospital, for children who will be having cleft lip/palate surgeries in January.
