Bring a shoebox, get a sandwich

Chick-Fil-A Restaurant, 1051 Boardman Poland Road, will host a special collection day from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday with Operation Christmas Child, a project that sends millions of gift-filled shoeboxes to needy children overseas.

Participants are asked to drop off a shoebox filled with small items such as school supplies, toys and hygiene items; those who donate during the designated time will receive a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich.
