Chris and Missy (Ruppert) Lawson of Powell, Ohio, are announcing the birth of a son, Evan Ruppert Lawson, on Sept. 26. The boy was born at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He has a sister, Macy Elizabeth. The grandparents are Natalie and Jeff Lawson of Tega Cay, S.C.; Jeanne and Frank Busse of West Chester, Ohio; and Ted and Mary Ruppert of Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Nicholas and Ciara (Thomas) Washington of Cincinnati are announcing the birth of a daughter, Arin Elaine Washington. She was born Sept. 27 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Her grandparents are Duane and Felicia Thomas of Youngstown. Great-grandparents are Dorothy Daniel of Warren and Azalene Thomas of Youngstown.
