Artist to teach painting classes

Cleveland-based artist and art educator Kristen Olsen will be back at Imbibe Martini Bar, 124 W. Federal St., downtown, tonight and Friday.

The Poland native will conduct informal after-work painting sessions at the nightspot at 8:30 tonight and 8 p.m. Friday. She last taught a class at Imbibe in September.

Olsen describes her classes as a creative way to relax after work, and an alternative to just having drinks.

She does not teach everyone to do the same painting, but instead encourages each participant to express themselves artistically.

Anyone interested in art, regardless of skill level, can take part. The fee is $15, and all art materials are provided.
