Robert Holt Jr., 28, of Hamilton Street Southwest, was shot in the back near his home at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday and taken to a hospital.

When asked whether the shooting might be related to other gun violence in the southwest part of the city in recent weeks, Lt. Jeff Cole of the Warren Police Department said that is “under investigation.”
