Unitarian church to discuss science and religion

YOUNGSTOWN

Religion and science have long been in conflict in the west, from Galileo to Darwin to today. How do they interact? The Rev. Matt Alspaugh will share the pulpit with Karen O’Malia during a service on this subject at 11 a.m. Sunday at Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St.

Special music will be by Ginger Doss, a singer-songwriter. She also will give a concert at 7 p.m. that day in support of the church’s Welcoming Congregation program on behalf of GLBT efforts.
