Syria: Bomb attack in central Damascus kills 8

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) - Syrian state media say a bomb has exploded in a central district of Damascus, killing at least eight people. The state news agency SANA says the bomb detonated at the entrance to a building near the central Hijaz square midday today. Eight people were killed and dozens wounded in the blast.
