LOWELLVILLE

The village will swear in two new part-time officers Nov. 13, bringing the police department’s roster to capacity with 15 officers.

“There’s not been 15 [officers] in Lowellville for probably the last 20 years,” said Chief Ryan Bonacci.

The swearing-in ceremony will be at Lowellville City Hall, 140 E. Liberty St., and will start at 6:30 p.m.

Two officers will also receive awards during the ceremony: Daniel Baker, in recognition of police excellence, and Donald Coppola, in recognition of meritorious service.
