ELECTION UPDATE | McNally now has large lead over Kitchen

YOUNGSTOWN

In the Youngstown mayoral race, Democrat John McNally IV has opened up a large lead on his nearest competitor, DeMaine Kitchen, an independent candidate. However, many locations considered Kitchen strongholds have yet to be counted. With the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th wards and early voters, McNally has 5,084 votes to 2,813 for Kitchen. Remaining to be counted are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd wards, in which Kitchen is expected to do well.
