ELECTION UPDATE | Adair, Williams, Shadd ahead in Youngstown schools contest

YOUNGSTOWN

With absentee votes and four of the city’s seven wards counted, Jackie Adair, Jerome Williams and Ronald Shadd are leading in the city school board race. Adair has 3,776 votes; Williams has 3,706; and Shadd, 3,488. They lead Hattie Wilkins who has 2,465 and write in candidate Lock P. Beachum Sr., an incumbent, who has 240 votes.
