He was arraigned Monday in Newton Falls Municipal Court and is in Trumbull County jail.

At 5 a.m. Monday, police responded to an alarm at Shopko, 2300 Milton Blvd., and noticed the front-door glass had been broken out and merchandise had been taken from the store.

The Warren Fire Department is investigating a second suspicious fire on Front Street Southwest in three days.

The only thing that didn’t burn was the basement, which contained hundreds of tires.

The home is owned by Steve Westfall of Leland, N.C., and has been vacant for a long time.

The home is four doors down from 855 Front, which burned at 10:37 a.m. Thursday.
