Carmen’s Pizza in Warren target of second robbery

Carmen’s Pizza, 1861 Youngstown Road SE, was robbed a second time in less than three days.

The second robbery was at 8:46 p.m. Friday in which a person attempted to rob the restaurant but got nothing. The robber was using a car.

Police provided no other information about the robbery, but it involved either a weapon or a threat of a weapon.

At 8:38 p.m. Tuesday, a male with a handgun robbed the restaurant of $340 in cash and got away.

Police also investigated 9:07 p.m. Friday armed robbery at Caesar’s Restaurant, 2801 West Market Street. In that incident, a person took about $190 from a cash register and fled north.
