Man killed in two-car crash in Mercer County

A man was killed in a two-car accident on Sandy Lake Polk Road.

The accident happened at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police identified the man as Ryan Voorhees, 37, of Franklin, Pa.

Police said Elise Welton, 27, drove through a stop sign and hit Voorhees’ car on the driver’s side.

His car spun and rolled.

Charges are pending against Welton, a police report indicates.
