Bizkit rocker working on a CW drama

Fred Durst is developing a one-hour music drama for the CW based on his life, according to TV Guide.
“The Noise” will follow the rise of a young frontman in the 1990s who escapes a volatile home life and launches a successful band.
Sound familiar? Durst launched his nu-metal band Limp Bizkit in the mid-’90s and exploded during the “Total Request Live” days thanks to smash hits such as “Break Stuff,” a cover of “Faith,” and “Nookie.”
Limp Bizkit fans shouldn’t worry about this foray into television.
The band is hard at work on a comeback album after securing a deal with Cash Money Records last year. A new album is expected in 2014.
