Trumbull Head Start gets $3.1M federal grant

WARREN

The Trumbull Community Action Program was awarded a $3.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help operate its Head Start program in Warren.

“Head Start has always provided necessary social services including nutrition and wellness programs for low-income children,” said U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, who announced the grant Thursday.

“These funds will continue these necessary services that enhance their cognitive, social and emotional development.”
