Broadway actor offers dance class

BOARDMAN

Ben Cameron, who has appeared in the Broadway musicals “Wicked,” “Aida” and “Footloose,” will teach dance workshops Nov. 16 at Ruth’s Dance and Fitness, 5625 South Ave.

The workshop for juniors will begin at 10 a.m., and the one for seniors at 1:30 p.m. Both will be four hours long. Price is $90.

Band in concert

CORTLAND

Cortland Community Band, under the direction of Craig Wiencek, will give its 30th anniversary concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lakeview High School Auditorium. Admission is free but donations will be accepted. Guest conductor will be Roger Harned, the first director of the Cortland Community Band.
