Niles health department has kids' immunization clinic Wednesday
NILES — Niles City Health Department, 34 W. State St., is offering its immunization clinic for children from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and Nov. 20. No appointment is necessary, and no one will be refused because of inability to pay.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The child’s immunization record is required. Children should be feeling well with no illness, fever or rash.
Also, the health department is offering flu shots for adults and children from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays until the vaccine is gone.
Patrons should bring their Medicare, Medicaid or Anthem Senior Advantage I.D. cards for billing purposes. For all other HMOs, including Medicare Complete and Aetna Medicare, the cost is $20 for adults and $3 for children.
