Boardman Park’s Mommy and Me Tea and Fashion Show was May 5 at the Lariccia Family Community Center. This was the ninth year that Boardman Park offered the event to mothers, daughters, grandparents, or other mother figures in the community.
“The Mommy and Me Tea and Fashion Show is a nice day out with mom,” said Karen McCallum of the Boardman Park. “The daughters do all of the modeling at the fashion show, where they get to strut their stuff and show off the outfits they wore.”
Other activities at the tea and fashion show included taking pictures together, making crafts, a luncheon and making promise cards to one another.
“Whether it is with mom, grandma or another mother figure in their lives, this is a good time with mom and a great chance to spend time together,” said McCallum.
