Historical society to sponsor tea

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Girard Historical Society members are preparing to serve the annual tea, which will take place at 2 p.m. June 29 at Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State St., Girard. From left are Shirley Hunter, Sally Curl, Colette Chuey, Pat Hill, Roberta Lawrentz, Mary Anne Creatore and Ellen Surak. Members not in the photo are Patty Finelli and Carlie O’Neill. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. The program is Victoria’s Lady in Waiting. There will be a basket raffle, door prizes and a prize for the best hat.
