Hertz rental car stolen in Boardman

A car was reported stolen from Hertz Rent A Car on Market Street Wednesday afternoon.

The Chevrolet Sonic was rented for 30 days but was never returned, according to a report. Employees at Hertz Rent A Car tried contacting the suspect several times without a response.

A certified letter was sent to the suspect in March, which she signed, but contact was never made to the car rental agency. The rental agency has been unable to locate the vehicle and is pressing charges.
