TNT ends season with ‘Honky Tonk’

Trumbull New Theatre will conclude its season with the country-flavored musical “Honky Tonk Angels,” which opens Friday for a three-weekend run.

“Honky Tonk” follows three gutsy girls who meet on the way to Nashville, where they all hope to become famous singers.

Terri Gilbert and John Timmins are the directors. The cast includes Jenny Long, Christine Weatherman and Hannah Gillespie, supported by Nicole Bowden, Kathy Purdum, Susan Dalessandro and Bett Bunker.

Show times are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8, and June 14 and 15; and 3 p.m. June 9 and 16. The theater is at 5883 Youngstown-Warren Road, Call 330-652-1103 for tickets ($17 for adults, $15 for students).
