May 9:

Theft: Police charged Daniel English, 47, of 7 Maple St., Canfield, with theft from Professional Engine Systems, 495 W. Main St.

May 20:

Warrant: Police arrested James T. Riley, 56, of 119 Shields Road, Apt. 1, Boardman, for failure to appear on a warrant out of Canfield Mayor’s Court.

May 22

Warrant: Police arrested William T. Carroll, 317 Verdant, Canfield, for failure to appear on a warrant out of Canfield Mayor’s Court.

May 26

Warrant: Police arrested Jeffrey Seybert II, 29, P.O. Box 126, New Galilee, Pa., on a warrant out of Columbiana County.

AUSTINTOWN

May 20

Theft: A screen door was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: Police charged Tamara Brown, 44, of 153 S. Truesdale Ave., Youngstown, with criminal damaging and complicity to theft at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave. She also was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of theft and receiving stolen property.

Theft: A theft was reported at Marc’s, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Romeo Latessa, 55, of 4493 Mahoning Ave., for criminal trespassing at Cash Land, 4805 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Six female suspects took clothing at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

May 21

Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s tires were flattened while it was parked at an apartment in the 800 block of Compass West.

Burglary: A 60-inch LG 3-D television was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Domestic violence: Police arrested John Petroff, 40, of 160 S. Navarre Ave., on the charge.

May 22

Theft: Medication and cash were taken from a home in the 4000 block of East Radio Road.

Theft: A credit card was taken from a home in the 60 block of North Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two packages were taken from a porch at a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Theft: A necklace with an angel charm was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls were reported at a home in the 100 block of South Navarre.

Assault: A male sprayed another male with an unidentified substance at South Raccoon Road and Kerrybrook Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Taquala North, 24, of 1188 S. Ohio Ave., Apt. 4, Columbus, on a warrant for obstructing official business.

May 23

Theft: Clothing was reported stolen at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Edith Stetner, 54, of 4267 Woodmere Drive, Austintown, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Warrant: Police arrested Antoine Davis, 18, of 139 Carnegie Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: A purse was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.

Theft: Police charged Philip Tunanidas, 62, of 2910 Oakland Ave., No. 4, Liberty, with theft of merchandise from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A debit card was used to remove money from an account belonging to the homeowner in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Shawn Braxton, 19, of 4005 Howard St., Youngstown for theft of $130 in merchandise at Walmart.

Theft: Police accused a 16-year-old juvenile of theft from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. The teen was released to parent supervision.

Theft: Credit cards were taken from a vehicle parked at a home in the 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested Alexander Rood, 21, no address listed, on Austintown warrants for possession of drug abuse instruments.

May 24

Theft: Police issued a summons to a male juvenile for theft at Sheetz, 5499 Mahoning Ave., and released him to his parents.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Victor Peterman, 56, of 8201 Warren-Sharon Road, Masury, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aggravated menacing: A man reported being menaced at the Split Level, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: An Ohio temporary license tag was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Rita Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Harassment was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Orchard Hill Drive.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet was lost or stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Joseph Niehorster, 50,of 5731 Baylor Ave., for theft for taking $11.67 in merchandise from Sheetz Gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet was left on the counter at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested David Polito, 31, of 60 Squirrel Hill Drive, Boardman, on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Domestic violence: Robert Scott, 38, of 4711 Woodhurst Drive, No. 7, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Obstructing official business: Police arrested Chad Kuti, 20, of 4427 Aspen Drive, for obstructing official business and on a warrant for petty theft.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at a home in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.

Vehicle theft: A 2005 vehicle was stolen from a lot in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Janet Clay, 46, of 1077 Eastway Drive, Youngstown, for theft of $88.78 in merchandise at Walmart.

Warrant: Police arrested Scott McCleery, 33,of 736 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.

Lost or stolen property: A wallet was lost or stolen at the Regency House, 3704 Mahoning Ave.
